Violet UK is a side project dreamed up by X-Japan member, Yoshiki. The name Violet UK has a special meaning. Yoshiki thought of violet as the color that you get when you mix together other colors. He added UK to the end because most of the songs are in English. This project has been in the making for over 8 years. The musical style covers a wide range. The sound combines digital drum-loops, classical piano and guitar. In 2002, Nicole went to Japan as a part of Violet UK and performed the English version of the song "I'll Be Your Love". She also sang backup on the song "Blind Dance". The concert was held on December 3th and 4th in 2002.
