Eden's Crush Diary: Entry #3

Well let's see, it's been about a week since we've returned from Thanksgiving.
The break was nice. I was able to spend time with my aunty in the hospital (at the City of Hope)
and my Tutu and her sister from Hawaii. I love my family so much.
Being around them makes me stop and smell the roses!

When I went back to KY, it was great to see my family back home.
I spent most of my day at the airport on Thanksgiving,
but the couple of hours I did see my family was home sweet home.

In this chapter of my life I'm so happy to be able to take a step back and look at what I have been blessed with and breathe
in all of the good people around me. I'm realizing, page by page, that I'm feeling so much love and support from my friends
and family.I know that the time will come sooner than later that once again I will have yet another obstacle to face on this adventure,
but I feel as though I won't go at it alone.

Things can always be greener on the other side of the hill,
but I must be able to stop and smell the flowers on my journey over there.
